I later saw video of Jenny McCarthy on Larry King where she basically, without outright saying it, said that her kid got autism because of vaccinations and she "cured" him with a gluten free ultra-vegan super diet. I'm sorry, I just dont care. Helping people cope is important, scapegoating vaccines isnt. A great example of what you're talking about is, I believe global warming exists. I really do. BUT. I have yet to see anywhere near the proof that people are claiming that "Global Warming = CRAAAAAAAAAZY hurricanes". I'm from f-ing louisiana, I know my damn hurricanes. Hurricanes have cycles, there are up years, there are down years. If the ocean's hotter, thats fine, but thats not all that leads to a hurricane.
