Teen's body pulled from lake after apparent drowning
(Coxsackie, NY - AP) - The body of a 17-year-old was pulled from a lake in Greene County today after he went swimming with two co-workers.
State Police say they received 9-1-1 calls shortly after 3 o'clock this afternoon from residents at Sleepy Hollow Lake.
They teen had complained of cramps and began to have trouble swimming. Divers found his body about 50 feet from shore in about 28 feet of water.
Troopers say it appears to be an accidental drowning. An autopsy is planned.
The identity of the 17-year-old, who had been working on a residence, was not immediately disclosed.
