just another day
christmas came and went as any other day. i woke up around 10 am and jumped off the mattress pad for the last time. i don't miss it. yet. then again, i haven't left either...
i got a call today from hans smucker! yay hans! i tried calling a few people but didn't leave a message- just wanted to say merry christmas? nah... people don't even answer my emails- not gonna leave a cheesy message like that.
anyway, made a trip to crouse to stuff my locker some more. it's ridiculous how much i have crammed into that thing. and more goes today- i'm just waiting for a break in the rain. that was really great- walking to and from crouse. enjoying the weather in syracuse. badaboom. that's right i was enjoying it. there wasn't any snow, but it was a wintry day. i took pictures of the green grass and the black squirrel has made numerous appearances during my adventures to and from crouse this past week.
speaking of this past week, i just have to thank the kind soul who saw me lugging my trunk down euclid and had the compassion to help me out. i don't think my arms would have made it the second half of the way to schine- that first half mile was tougher than i figured it would be.
also my neighbor chris who i met for the first time on saturday drove me to the ups store- which would have been two and a half miles of a walk. that was amazing- it was mere luck that we bumped into each other as he was leaving to go home!
oh strangers... they are the best. just don't eat the candy.
i no longer have an address- not that my previous address was dubious or anything (501 Euclid/747 Sumner Ave.) for the next month, i'll be travelling like it's my job.
