1. What did you do in 2017 that you'd never done before? Got married, bought a house, adopted a second dog (never owned two dogs at once before-imagine that), went through my first real Florida hurricane, paid off m car loan
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Pretty certain I didn’t make one because I haven’t in years.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? My cousin had her second baby this year.
4. Did anyone close to you die? Uncle Percy passed in February
5. What countries did you visit? None L
6. What would you like to have in 2018 that you lacked in 2017? Financial stability…which MAY actually be feasible this year. I don’t need to be rich, just not stressed anymore.
7. What date from 2017 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? September 23rd was pretty significant. Also November 15th.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Successful wedding and buying the house. #adulting
9. What was your biggest failure? I didn’t stick to my fitness goals/consistency for a lot of the year as I had planned to. Getting better and back into it now though.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? I had to have another eye procedure this year if that counts.
11. What was the best thing you bought? My wedding dress, the house, the fridge and washer/dryer that I scored amazing black Friday deals on.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My family and friends in general helping make the wedding better than I could’ve imagined.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Looking at you, Mr. Trump
14. Where did most of your money go? All. Over. Wedding vendors, house, loans, bills. At least some of it was fun this year.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? This wedding and house are going to take over this survey, aren’t they.  Officially adopting Phoebe was pretty exciting too
16. What song will always remind you of 2017? “Speechless” is pretty obligatory, I think
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
I. happier or sadder? Happier
II. thinner or fatter?  Fatter L
III. richer or poorer? Right now, poorer. But, more assets.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? I always wish I had more time with family but I actually got more of it this year than in previous years. I just wish it could’ve been longer than a day or two, but I’ll take it.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Spend money. But it was mostly all worth it.
20. How did you spend Christmas? Made a breakfast casserole, took the dogs on long walks. Kyle had to work in the afternoon so I just sat around watching Christmas movies, napping, and eating everything in the house.
[Question 21 will forever be gone]
22. Did you fall in love in 2017? Is it cheesey to say yes, all over again?
23. How many one-night stands? None.
24. What was your favorite TV program? I think we got hooked on a lot of Netflix series. Love, Master of None, Trollhunters, Fuller House (okay that one is just me), The Ranch
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Not that I can think of…
26. What was the best book you read? Lol there was no reading this year. Maybe in 2018 I’ll actually pick up the book I got 3 pages into and finish it.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? There was a lot of re-discovering old favorites this year. I’m sure there were newbies but I can’t think of them right now.
28. What did you want and get? Married, the house, Phoebe.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?  After looking through all the movies that came out this year I discovered that I really didn’t see all that many new movies. But I think A Dog’s Purpose was probably up there on top. It made me cry the most.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 28…and I can’t remember what I did.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?  Less debt.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2017? I think it has been pretty consistent these past few years.
34. What kept you sane? Running, actually.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Ellen! She loves the elephants
36. What political issue stirred you the most? There were honestly too many to even remember this year.
37. Who did you miss? Sophie when she left me L
38. Who was the best new person you met? Erin-she moved into an office across from me and she has helped make work so much more fun.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2017: Surround yourself with positivity and ignore the negatives. Life will be much happier.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year: “Never gonna be alone”
