Some how it is already mid June. Dear god time does go by fast as we get older. This is extremely troubling.
I passed Pre-Health Science with honors (wooooo) so I'm on my way to my first year of Massage therapy starting in September. I'm a bit nervous for this course as I noticed in the graduation book that only 26 students had graduated from massage therapy this year. Scary.
I've recently decided that Ryan and I (look at me making life decisions for Ryan) will be spending at least 3 months in Japan after we are both done school, 2 years from now. I am terribly excited. Sadly, there are a lot of things to take into consideration when leaving the country for a lengthy period of time. Namely, funds. We want to live and study in the Tokyo area which is of course, the most expensive. It will be about 10,000 yen a month for housing and utilities (about $1000 equivalent, but actually closer to $1300 Canadian with the exchange rate) plus tuition costs and $2000 per person for plane tickets and food money and souvenirs and and and... yeah. Expensive little idea I have. We still have two years to plan and save AND we can get a work visa if we plan to stay more than three months... so we could work part time to at least pay for groceries, etc. I'd love to stay for a year but I think Ryan would go a little nutso. We'll see. If we can bring Jack, he might be able to tough it out. If not, I'll just stay, muahahahaha.
I was sick for the last two weeks with some crazy viral infection that the doctors would not give me antibiotics for. My mom had Chris write me a prescription for some from America and I am finally almost fully recovered. I'm back full time at work after missing two weeks being bed ridden. Gotta pay dem bills.
Ryan got in a fist fight last weekend. I wasn't impressed. Especially after I heard the entire story and saw the other party involved. Boys just don't have any concept of consequences. They just act. What would've happened if any of them had been severely hurt and they were charged, or even if someone had died? The fight brain processing order just doesn't get far enough to ask those questions before acting. Luckily, Ryan and Brett left unscathed and the other guys didn't look too bad either. He sure knows how to make me worry.
That's all for now eljay. Beef and Daikon stew and some anime before work are calling my naaaaaaame.
