Sigh, I should know better than to have tea this late. But but but,
The Chai is just SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD.
Oh well. Night owl-ness seems to be my specialty.
Hot Hot Heat was alright tonight, mind you there was a lot less people there than I had expected. The opening bands were alright as well. The first guy,
Rich Aucoin, does more of a techno set featuring well known youtube videos and sort of 90's vibe memorabilia. At one point he whipped out one of the big rainbow parachutes (you know the ones you used to play with in gym class back in grade school?) and had a bunch of people in the crowd stretch it out then lift up the edges and all run underneath it. I did not take part in this as the circle was filled almost instantly by drunks rushing over to investigate the big, colourful exciting thing. Yay mentally reverting intoxication process!
Actually, I shouldn't judge, as I can get pretty crazy childish myself when I drink.
The next band was
Hey Rosetta, a nice indie/folk style band from the east coast. They consist of I believe 5 members and include a violin and a bass among their instruments which created a nice change of pace. They reminded me a bit of The Perishers, to be honest.
Overall it was a good night and everyone had a good time. Woot.
Now I'm probably going to run away and play Sims3 until I pass out. Life is awesome.
p.s. cuticles are weird. That is all.
