[He wants to say that he's fine, plans on saying it, in fact. He doesn't intend to trouble a near stranger after all, and he can take care of himself. Besides, what could she possibly do for him if no place is safe?
But then something twists in his gut and he feels it: the undeniable sensation of crawling, of something moving purposefully through his insides. He clutches his stomach and bites back a startled, choked cry.]
