It's like a cloud passing over the sun, it comes so quickly.
It doesn't continue on its way, however.
Looking up into the sunless sky, you see blood red cracking its way through the gray before beginning to bleed out to cover the rest of it.
As this shadow of dark red engulfs it, you realize that light is rapidly fading and it's almost as dark as night. (Good thing your wrist devices have built in flashlights)
And then the bells start to toll (one, two-). You watch the last of the sky be swallowed up (-three-) and everything around you becomes deadly silent.
