Okay - getting regular stomach-aches and indigestion induced by stress from witnessing ridiculous fights between other family members is simply no fun. I want back at my university soooooo bad . . . fortunately it'll be open next Wednesday *whew*. Until then, I'll be playing Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2 : Echoes sequentially. As if that weren't fun enough, I also get to work on a logo for a national contest, which luckily has had its regional deadline extended because of the hurricane *another whew*.
They've also unveiled their plan to make up for the lost time due to Rita, which - of course - totally BITES if you're taking art classes. They just plan on extending each class period by five minutes while extending the semester further into December. The five-minute addition also reduces the time students have to get to their next class, which really SUCKS - once again - particularly for art majors since the art building is at the far corner of the campus way away from the other major buildings. Oy . . . the five-minute extension is really undercutting valuable time for art majors since the good majority of work in our classes is actually done outside of class time. Needless to say, my animation and digital video editing classes are going to be rushed way too close for comfort.
But I must say this again . . . I don't blame the hurricane. My blame shall weigh upon the insidious sources of unnecessary pollution that have accelerated global warming !!!!!! *gives the finger to SUVs and . . . other unnecessary pollution agents that currently escape my art-starved brain*
