Hey hey hey ! picture of Katie Rae!!
I am so happy I found these on my computer! I also have a picture on here of Michael...

I made a cool rock-face guy in ceramics today. He is funny looking and i'm giving him to my uncle errol 'cause he appreciates that kind of artsy stuff.

I heard recently my own philosphy that I had yet unnamed in my opinions of vegetarianism. I hate how people are vegetarians because they love animals but they eat fish ( what the hell?) Also, that people don't want to eat living things but aren't plants living things also? If we were not going to eat any living thing we would be jain monks who only ate fruit that falls from the plant. and i don't know about you but I respect plants as much as I respect all other beings but I guess that's just because i'm a crazy tree-huggin pagan girl.
Animals naturally eat other animals. we have teeth especially designed to eat a variety of things and so we should. However, we ought to be more thankful of the things that give up life for our food. I think if we still hunted for our food we would appreciate it more and better recognize that we are eating a living thing like the native americans did. But now our population will not allow for such things. anyways here is what my ceramics teacher said and it is now my belief too: he would not eat anything that he wouldn't have the guts to kill himself. This can fit in because like a creature can only eat the type of animal that they can kill- not one that is too big or ferocious, or for humans, not one that has personal connection to them.
Also, when we are younger or living with our parents we could say that our fathers do the hunting for us so we may eat what THEY can catch. Or if there is a special occasion and a hunting party brings in special meat as a gift, that could work too. I just think that whatever people eat, they should recognize that their chicken mcnugget was a living being once, with a soul and a history and a personality...and be thankful.
did you ever think how weird eating your best friend would be? or your pet? you are like ...eating their flesh..what if you remembered the time that you were wrestling with your friend and gave them a scar- you would eat that scar. or fluffy's thighs are so tough because she liked to climb trees alot...*shivers* wierd. Sometimes I imagine what it would be like to eat Brian but mainly in a way to become part of him or have him as part of me... i just want to get that close to him... ( I think he would taste good, too) Of course I would never eat him... Can anyone (serra) remeber if it was druids who would ritually eat their dead as a way of becomeing part of themselves?

In conclusion, when I buy my own food (when I move out) I will only buy animals that I would have the courage to kill. This is good too, because if the chemicals in my body drive me to have that courage, I probably need the nutrients in meat-ya know?(PMS)
