Faye hasn't had enough pancakes in her lifetime to know what constitutes as Good Pancakes and Bad Pancakes. She knows that Good Pancakes are supposed to involve some sort of mixture with chocolate or at least blueberries, and Bad Pancakes are what happens when she tries to do anything even remotely involving batter, but whatever this is, by her standards, it's pretty good.
She's never had breakfast in bed anyway, so that upgrades Good Pancakes to Better Pancakes. And she's never had either of these things with Frederick, so that just upgrades everything to Nice and Slightly Strange.
Oh well.
