Meteorology
I have this friend Nelson, perhaps he's been mentioned before? His boyfriend Jay is a pilot. Specifically, he's on the track to becoming a commercial pilot, and even a flight instructor (getting qualified for that as we speak).
So today was his instruments-only flying test. Wanna know what they did? They unfolded a map and covered the entire front window with it, so he could land the plane with no view. I like the improvisation :)
So anyway, the point of this entry is Nelson sent me the coolest picture (he was in the back of the plane). I'm so getting them to take me up whenever I manage to get that really nice camera I want... there will merely be six thousand of these.
In the meantime, I can't take any credit for this, but it's too plain neat. I did screw around with it though, take some haze out, that sort of thing...
