She was horrified. The scream was caught in the back of her throat, but it didn’t want to come out. Klaus grinned at her with blood stained lips.
“What are you?” she managed to choke out as the blood from the fallen man began to soak the hem of her dress.
The moonlight gleamed off his fangs and her blood ran cold. Her breath caught in her throat when he suddenly stood in front of her. He twirled a dark lock around his finger. She could smell the blood on his lips and it made her stomach turn.
“I am your worst nightmare, Katerina,” Klaus said with a cruel grin before he kissed her.
