made good time getting to CA. found an apt. across the street from a liquor store and down the street from a head shop. Not much graffiti and i haven't seen any bums yet, well, homeless ones anyway. We are the only white people here except for the managers wife who is the epitome of an airhead. Trying to find a roommate for Veronica. Yesterday this gorgeous blond number checked the place out, she and her ma were here for over three hours. Whether she take the place or not, i'm sure Veronica and her will be friends. Bought a fridge, no place in L.A. comes with a fridge for some reason. It's buzzing pretty loud, need to find out why before it drives my murderous rage over the edge.
Haven't smoked since i left, i have so much energy. last night i only had one beer, it was hard falling asleep and i woke up early. guess when your body gets used to certain toxins it needs them, but i ain't got the hook up or funds to get those toxins in me. i'm not missing it though, i just want to sleep alright.
