the world and especially the terrorists would consider it a defeat, and so would i. we should leave when they have a somewhat stable government. most of our troops are scheduled to leave after Iraq's first elections on June 30th. how would we not abandon them if our troops left, by sending money?

there are around 200 on death row right now, all through the due process of law, convicted by a jury of 12. not by one man. 70% of people in jail are for drugs, that is a problem we agree on.

This war cost us billions, how is that making Bush's wallet fatter? and you are playing the awful game, you're just the opposing team.

Iraq wasn't strong, they were just the strongest in the Middle east, aside from Isreal. They were at war with Iran for over 10 years which ended with a draw. That doesn't bully Iran, it shows them they can't fuck with us without losing.

war is a significant change, destroying and rebuilding a country is a very significant change, and changing their government is even more significant. we did the same thing after WWII with Japan and Germany, and look how good they're doing now. Japan is one of the most technological countries in the world, more than us. i don't think they would be without democracy.

even if war is inevitable, which i can honestly say i don't know if that's true, this war was preventable. we got our stinky toes in iran and iraq's buisness long ago, and that is what triggered the persian gulf war and subsequently lead up to today. there's something fishy about us concintrating so much on the middle east for the past 25 years when there are worse dictators all over the world. espeacially when you consider how much oil is brought into this country every day. this is even more fishy when you put key players names together and how they add up throughout the years. for example bush 1 working with regan and being head of the cia (which makes lots of money by selling drugs to really terrible people by the way.) and bush's sons having lead roles in the government, and cheny's ties to a corrupt oil company, just to name a few. i'm sure this argument could be stronger if i knew more of these peoples names. but anyway, that doesn't sound like democracy, but more like plutocracy. look at nader for example. the system is set up so that it is nearly impossible to become a third or fourth party candidate. EACH state has it's OWN laws on how to go about getting your name on the ballot, which would be fine... if it wasn't a FEDERAL election. i don't know why japan got so fucking smart, maybe it's part of the emperors evil plan, but i sincerely believe that we are NOT living in a democracy right now. on the democratic debate on tv the other day dennis kucinich said that as president he would initiate a universal health care system (which is a great idea), and larry king is all like, "isn't that socialism?" and some people in the audience are all like "boo". Dennis responded by saying that what we have now is preditorial capitalism, which is true as far as the insurance companies are concerned. i don't understand what some americans are so afraid of everytime they here the word socialism or communism. these systems have some really good ideas and if we democratically elected some of the best ideas from each group we'd have a pretty dandy system. shit, most people don't even know who dennis kucinich IS! it's this fucking media brainwashing, focusing on nothing but two puppets (edwards and kerry. thing 1 or thing 2). i'm not fond of bush's crazy right winged politics but i sure as hell don't want another clinton either. there's so much more issues going on out there that could really use some looking into, but they have perfected the art of closing our eyes to the truth and building a box around our fucking souls. it's late, i gotta get some sleep.
p.s. i hope you don't mind me invading you with these rants... i didn't think so.
