Work!
So, what's up everyone? I can't believe it's almost February! This Monday is when I start my job at CVS/Caremark. I will be mostly working on the Caremark side of things. Caremark manages pharmaceutical benefits for companies that have medical insurance. (CVS bought Caremark a couple years ago, so I get a 20% discount at CVS/pharmacies!) Basically what I will be doing is talking to doctors and pharmacists all day and determine if a patient needs to be on a particular prescription. It sounds bad at first, but when you think about it, a patient maybe taking three medications that basically do the same thing, but are prescribed by three different doctors.
I'm really looking forward to doing something like this. Part of the reason why I got this job was because I was a pharmacy technician. Even when I was a pharmacy technician, I was thinking about working for a company like Caremark. I am able to use my knowledge as a pharmacy technician but not work retail. We'll have to see how things go though. I do miss Blo/No a lot, and miss hanging out with all my friends and of course Chase. I do have a lot of friends up here, so it's not bad at all. (I'm going to Kelle's house to watch the Super Bowl. She could care less about the game, but wants to make hot wings! Yum!)
Anyway, I plan be coming down again at some point and hanging out with people. Preferrably after I get my first paycheck, so I can have gas and such to be able to come down. Peace! ^_^
