Death by Crohn's Disease
Okay, so today we found out that Brittany Murphy died. That was a shock, for I always thought she was a decent actress and she was so young!
Anyway, another death sparked my attention. Dan O'Brannon, the guy who wrote the screenplay to Alien died a few days ago. He died due to a 30 year battle with Crohn's Disease. Whoa. Well fuck me. That is slightly scary. He wasn't extremely young, but he wasn't that old either. If you don't know, I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease around this time last year. Lately I've been able to deal with it okay, but I know there are lots of people that are a lot worse off than I am. Still, this is a wake up call that I really need to take care of myself.
