Pirates!
Name: Raivis Galante.
Age: 15, looks a little younger maybe.
Occupation: Naval Officer, directly beneath the captain. Usually this sets him back doing cabin boy work and grunge jobs, but he takes it seriously.
Relatives: Toris Lorinatis, Eduard Von Bock (Brothers) , Gilbert Beilschmidt, Ludwig Richter (cousins).
Raivis was enlisted quite young, at eight or nine, as a deck hand on a slave ship that went from the African colonies to the Caribbean and back. Sometime during (when he was about twelve) he was grabbed from a dock by a naval captain and put to work there instead. He managed to find favor with the captain over the years, and currently works under him as an assistant. He's a dreamer and a romantic, but he takes things seriously.
He has a bit of a thing for the captain's sister, who he works closely with usually, and has developed a rather large crush on her. Vash isn't allowed to know this, though.
