perspective
When you look up at the stars as night, you are looking into the past. No seriously, you might be looking at star light from a star that doesn't even exist anymore. Word.
I need perspective right now b/c after months of not being too busy at work and being afraid my company was going to close or that I would lose my job, I am now super dooper unbelievably busy. It was like 0 to 60 in a BMW. Except not in a car.
And even more hysterically I am working on the product that was the very last product I worked on when I actually worked at BigFreakingPharmaCo (vs. being a tiny contractor for BigFreakingPharmaCo). which I think is really hilarious. It's like looking into the past in the present, really.
And the sun is shining and my backyard in GOLDEN but I'm feeling for some of my friends right now, hoping things get better like they may be appearing to for me.
PS I really need some new icons, lord have mercy.
