Christmas was wonderful, full of champagne and turkey and eating and eating and preparing food and eating. An opening presents. I put pictures on the
homeschool blog. All in all it was a fabulous day.
But I have to post a cute Arielism while I am thinking about it. Involving, what else, poop. Ariel got this cat for Christmas- it's a Fur Real Friends cat that meows and blinks its eyes and everything. She adores it and carries it everywhere. I find it kind of cute in this really creepy kind of way. Well, she took it to the restroom and went poop and needed help wiping (isn't life with kids wonderful sometimes?). So I went in and there's her cat sitting next to the toilet and I exclaimed "Wow, Ariel! That's a big poop! Did the kitty do that poop in the potty?" and she said "No, I did!" and I asked her "Did kitty go poop, too? How come the kitty didn't do that poop?" And she looked at me like I was a moron and replied "Mommy, the kitty is not REAL." She just said it so matter of factly. It was hilarious. Especially after she had been carrying the cat around and brushing it and hugging it and treating it like a real cat all day. lol.
