Thanksgiving was good....

Thanksgiving was good. Turkey, family and all that jazz. We went to Tanglewood and saw the xmas lights, went out for pizza afterwards. This is a new tradition, started last year and we love it. I went shopping with my mom for my birthday (even though I refused to shop directly with her and sent her to the other side of the store) and got a nice wool turtleneck and a long black sweater. Then she, my sister and I went out to lunch. All in all, also a nice time. I was also quite depressed there for the first couple days over various reasons.. mainly things lurking in the shadows that I had been too busy at home to think about; until I got to NC and had much less to accomplish during the day. Now that I am busy again, I am very happily NOT dwelling on such things anymore. That's me, I bottle things up for a while until I can have a moment to sort them out and fix them.

I think I need a listy list before I hit the school books again:
Woke up at 5:30am and worked out
Made yogurt/honey muffins for breakfast
While muffins were baking I showered, made kids beds, got dressed
Took muffins out of oven, emptied dishwasher
Ate said muffins w/grapfruit
Paid CC bill from our vacation
Finished drying hair, making my bed
Completed history paper and sent it
Read history chapter and answered questions for it
Ate snack with kids (couple Whole Foods version triskets with peanut butter)
Read lots of books to the kids
Played dominos- like 6 games with various little children who wanted to participate
Sat with Trevor while he agonized over his copywork, helped Rachael make lower case "d"
Quizzed Trevor on his sight words and he took his phonics assessment (and passed with only one incorrect)
Logged his attendance and fixed missing attendance on the k12 website
Made lunch- speghetti with jarred sauce, fresh parsley and I put raw garlic on mine (it really does help)
Kids were whiny and eye rubbing so put them down for a nap after reading lots of the fourth Harry Potter
Now I am about to crack the books open again and see if I can get at least 30 minutes in before the kids wake up.
This afternoon I need to go to the lollipop bank and pay bills, go to the grocery store for a few things, do math with Trevor and study more.

Oh, and Happy birthday to me! I am 30 years old today.

list, thanksgiving trip
