I have so much going on and so many "posts" pre-built in my head but I haven't had the energy to write them all out!
I am a Registrar, these things have to be organized!!!
Hmm ok first a silly thing, I totally enjoyed the scandalous twist, that every time Jennifer Aniston was on screen during the Oscars, they panned out to show Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
Ok since it is late, I will stick with my short post about getting hit on.
I have had a rash of flirtations etc. lately. There is one which is part of a longer story so that will be detailed on my next post, getting into darker subjects.
Anywho...
It would seem that the chubby, broken spirited, sickly, upset, sometimes make-up-less and dressed like a bum look is reeling 'em in these days!
Two examples:
I went home sick one day last week. I looked really good that day, but um hello, I was sickly and nauseous passing in and out on the train ride home. I was on one of the earlier construction worker trains and had the good fortune to sit next to a group of blue collar men. One of them was really rather good looking. As I passed in and out of consciousness, he kept having little cute things to say to me. Plus, I think one time when he said eagerly and with a light chuckle to his buddy "Nah, I could handle all of that!" I got the distinct impression he was referring to me! (Still, ALL OF THAT!?!? I must be porking back up!)
On the way off the train he said something like "Be good" or "Behave" I said I would try. (Even sick, I am flirty!) He said something sassy back about doubting I would be good.
Then yesterday, after a long exhausting day of physical labor I walked over to the Village Market, that I never go to! I was dressed like a bum...my pink hair was WILD and untamed, I had no make-up on (picture: no eyebrows with bags under my eyes) one of the butchers was walking around and asked if I needed help. I was pretty defeated and upset so I must have just said no thanks. To which he replied "No, really? Dinner suggestions or perhaps my phone number?"
That did get me to smile and I just said no thanks, the bf might not approve. He actually asked me if I was SURE if the bf would mind! LOL
I think it's the hair! People talk to me way more now! I should start counting how many times I get people saying "Damn baby" to me!
