Back at school after a week of the dorms being closed.
Spent a few days in Mass with Marky Mark again, and as expected it was fun. Even if we didn't get to see the Museum of Science as planned. I learned how to play You Don't Know Jack, and sucked at it like it was my job. I thought I was smart? I can't write and have music playing at the same time, even this silly little journal entry is driving me crazy. Jo's face was going haywire so we didn't end up going to Brooklyn, but it seems like my girlfriend- aka the girl i have sex with- may be coming up to visit me later this month. I like that. Then Adam and I snuck back into the dorms Friday night and the rest of the girls came early on Saturday. We just kind of hung out and did a lot of nothing.
I really like used bookstores. Especially the one in Saratoga. There's nothing more exciting than opening up a really old leatherbound book. I'm such a nerd.
I think I'm too sensitive to write things. I was feeling really anxious yesterday so I decided to sit down and do a bit of writing and the story I ended up with shocked me. And made me sad for a long time. I don't believe in writing poetry anymore, just short stories. They're more interesting to me because all I really care about is the story anyway. Again.. I'm a nerd.
Last night was kind of nuts. Addie, Jen, Stel, Laura and I went to Chubby's for Mardi Gras. We had a lot of fun with Herbs and Lame boys. I drank a lot more than usual, (a half pitcher of g&t, pitcher of bud light and another quarter pitcher of sex on the beach- that's a man's drinking tab right there) but I didn't end up getting sick or doing anything stupid so it's fine. I just have been nursing a wicked hangover all day today- i believe my first legitmate one ever- and decided not to go to classes. Not even my poetic language class which has been kind of fun.
Very excited about California in a month and a half. Adam Morey is a good man.
That's about it I think.
Oh yeah- Physical therapy starts friday morning at 8 fucking thirty. Cool.
