[you are presently in a large glass-topped dome! the ceiling is high and appears rather artificial-looking, like a fake sky was painted on it. upon closer inspection, the sky actually flickers a bit, and if your vision is particularly good, you can tell that it's computer-generated. in one corner is a desk and a laptop on it, with one person typing furiously, and another leaning over their shoulder. the poll is on the wall next to them:]
