Less of a carnival, at the time, and more of a wildly disorganized game. It looks like the game is the same, even if the atmosphere is much different.

What's the object of the game?

To stay in the game to the end. About a quarter of the teams are wolves, and during the "night" they choose a team to eat. During the day all teams vote on a team to oust.

Precisely. Or, in the case of the wolves, concealing themselves from such discovery.

Although I suspect a convenient list will be made of each team's chosen name, so I doubt that matters either way.
