it's been a crazy past couple of days
wow. i finally have time to sit down and write about the new york trip, work, and last night.
new york was a blast. minus the 7 people in our room thing and sleeping on the floor. we went to some crazy hole in the wall chinese restaurant for lunch our first day there. evan was still drunk. go figure. but yea. they had chickens and ducks hanging in the window. so it looked like a good place to eat. we all liked our food.
then it was time for purse shopping! gotta love china town for that. i found a scarf i really liked so i bought it. jenna started finding purses she liked. jeff bought this fake caddy hood ornament with bling bling to hang around his neck. totally hillarious.
for dinner we went to jeckyl and hides. totally cool, but really pricy. but it was fun.
then we hit times square. all the kids rode the big ferris wheel in toys r us. then jeff and i headed back to the hotel to wait for the others.
our last day in new york jeff and i decided not to do much. we walked around central park, went in a gallery, and went to fao schwartz! i found alex's present. that store was fuckin awesome! they have a ride on hummer for your kids. only 30grand!
saturday night i had to work. it sucked.
but last night. last night was awesome. i got to snuggle with alex when we watched two towers. we were both in frisky moods last night. maybe he's finally coming around, i don't know. god. it just felt so right curled up on his chest. it was so funny. i finally was able to put my arm across his tummy cause he had his arm around my side and he was like 'how long did it take you to get the courage to do that'. i told him a long time. i kept on contemplating whether or not to do it. god, it just felt like home. he's just so warm. grr.. watch, that'll never happen again, but i've gotta hope.
