It was a banner night for research. Each new database leads me to another journal full of glorious citations! I just want to throw my PDF printouts onto the floor and roll around on top of them. I'm such a whore for information!
Speaking of, I'm on a biography break for the first time in many months. Boyfriend is all over me to read The Secret Life of Houdini next; but Now the Hell Will Start and Wild Swans are both enticing me. A great Stalin, Rasputin, or Ivan the Terrible bio would also serve; although I should stick to things already on my overflowing to-read bookcase!
Right now it's a British invasion with Pratchett on audio while Tom Holt is in my bag. Looks like leisure reading is squeezing itself back in between homework sessions. There needs to be more violin practice - that's for sure! It no longer sounds like I'm strangling a cat, but there needs to be more effort when it comes to memorizing where my fingers go for each note. Without that, playing is like translating.
