Lord Rido, while this is delightful in a sort of 'how very fitting and suitable' way...perhaps not quite so soon after what just happened? Maybe give my mental blocks another week or so to settle? Or a month?

The police, yes, but also this young woman's friends are on high alert and...well, this could be an opportunity to throw them off your trail. Lead them astray by doing the opposite of what they'd assume. Rather than having her for dinner, just...having her for dinner.

Just an amusing thought.

I dismissed the police. I'm mildly unsettled by the vast amount of power in this city that would love to fixate on their narrow little perception of evil.

Mainly, I just think it would be funny to mess with their heads.
