why is it everytime i go to an internet cafe the entire country is managing to be all webcamming it up and skyping themselves silly, and i cant even open my fricken email or any webpage for that matter, blogspot is totally unaccessable without a pain in the ass proxy site, forget facebook, ive got to fricken go to beirut before i can update my status... i have thus no desire to go on the internet, theres always something... i guess im cured by default. today i have the keyboard from hell, the keys are so stuck ive got to go all Chris Greenwood typing with index fingers styleee...
its not even eid over here yet, i thought i hit the jackpot getting over here winding my watch forward 2 hours and only then to find out that they break their fast like a whole hour earlier than in england! [6.30ish rather than 7.30 as it was when i got here...] - thats a whole 3 hours respite from what i had gotten used to. so the whole thing became even more of a synch - i will miss ramadan, i really enjoy it... especially here where you're allowed to let it take over your life, or just get waaaaay more done in the day cos you're not spending every idle moment with the thought of where and when shall the next meal be/come from... trecking about was a bitch tho - climbing fricken mountains without the promise of water was pretty freeekiiiing tough...
i miss the old days of climbing mountains, or into someones loft to use the contraband internet, at least it wasnt as slow as it is now what with everyone jamming it up with their heartonsleave romantic pursuits taking over the bandwidth... its like maybe theyve prioritised webcamming over regular page viewing and browsing... ag ag ag anyway...
