the only thing I remember at the last funeral lunch I went to was piles upon piles of sausage and peppers. I know there were other dishes, but thats the only one that stuck out.

what size luncheon we talkin? This was at a knights of columbus hall and it was full of irish and polish people.

I should have gone to my aunt's...my mom didn't want me to, though. She knows I don't handle things well anyway. -_-; Heh.

I don't know what I would even do. I'd be the sobbing mess in the corner - so I don't think I'd even notice if there was food anywhere!

I don't know why but I always associate casseroles with funeral wakes.

I think we had cold cut/cheese trays and rolls for my Dad's. Various salads. Stuff you could hold in your hand and not necessarily need to sit down and cut with a knife and fork.
