Post-a-day 22: Don't kill me! I've got so much to give!

I'm going to say something now that night ostracise me from some people that I hold very dear.

I went to see The Mighty Boosh last night. And I was really disappointed.

I've said it now. There's no taking it back.

The last show they did was nothing short of life-affirming for me. I know that probably sounds over-the-top, but it's true. Seeing them at St David's Hall loving every minute of their performance and revelling in their art was enough in itself to pursuade me to return to acting. Through love of acting and love of the Boosh I have made some wonderful friends. I will be the cover girl for the "Boosh changed my life" story.

I should never have gone to this show. I was dubious about series 3 but they were so amazing live last time I had high hopes. It seemed to me that style seriously trumped substance, which is far removed from what I love about the Boosh. It certainly had its moments, but seemed really piecemeal.

So I shall speak no more of it. I still love them. I'm just going to put this out of my mind and reminisce...
