October 30, 2008. Students in Milan and all over Italy protests against the cuts to educational funds starting from elementary schools to universities and research, and return to a single teacher system (maestro unico) for the first 5 years in elementary schools, as government passed a highly controversial law number 133 drafted by Mariastella Gelmini, Minister of Education of Berlusconi Cabinet.
