How the 3W series finale should have ended
At least with Bosco and Cruz.
Cruz's grenades never went off. She pulled the pins out but they didn't work. When Cruz had walked through the building she had seen two of the gangbangers' fighting. She assumed they must have caused the explosion. Both Ritza and Marcel suvived. When she awoke, she say that Hollis was still breathing. She dragged him into the fire and watched until she was sure he was dead. Then she went to find Bosco. He was so shocked and surpised and stunned. Her asked her "How?" and she just looked at him. Then, he grabbed her and held her for what seemed like an eternity. He was so happy she survived. She was happy he was holding her. When the bosses got there, they explained that they were checking it out and that Cruz went inside to get Hollis, when the place exploded. They never told anyone about the grenades. When they were allowed to leave, Bosco drove Cruz home. He told her he wanted to stay and make sure she was okay. She was a bit freaked out by this, but didn't deny him. She took a shower as he made something to eat. After they ate, they sat on the couch and talked everything out, the leukemia, Yokas, Mikey, Noble,the rape,Lettie, everything. She had started to cry when she talked about the leukemia and Bosco held her. After she stopped crying, Bosco continued to hold her. He told her when that building exploded, he realized something he had had always thought but was never sure of. He realized he loved her. At first she froze, then she looked him in the eyes and said "I love you too, Maurice". She had never called him that so they both kinda laughed a little. She got treatment with the encouragement of Bosco and with 2 1/2 years it was gone. She still gets monthly check-ups. Bosco is now an Anti-Crime Sergeant and Cruz was promoted to Detective for the lives she saved that day. She is Detective Faith Millers' partner in Major Cases. They recieved an award for being the best team in the tri-state area. Cruz and Bosco will be celebrating their 10th anniversary soon. They have four children. Two girls, Leticia Rose (Lettie) & Isabela Star (Izy) and twin boys, Michael Mustang (Mikey) and Castle Camelot (Casey).
