What's better than camping? More Camping!
Alright furs! I usually run a meet once a year, as a meetup at Hersheypark. This year I was torn between Hersheypark and camping. Seeing as Tamara is doing a Hersheypark meet on Labor Day, I have decided to go with my idea for a camping get-together.
This camping meet will be held at Gifford Pinchot State Park. It's about 30 minutes north of York. A bit of a drive for some, but, hey, it's not like you'll need to find a place to stay! :) This park features swimming (in the lake), hiking, and two disc golf courses (one of which is for regular disc'ers only. Difficult!). Activities will include card/board games, smores, disc golf, Kumbaya around the fire.... okay, probably not Kumbaya, other normal camping activities, though. This will be a relaxing couple of nights away from the bump & grind.
Campsites are $23/night, max of 2 tents per site, and max of 5 people on 1 site. Between five people, that's less than $10 total. Food will be provided for cash.
There are a couple of options that I need some input on:
1. Which weekend? Some time between the September 25th and October 11th. That's a choice of three weekends.
2. Would you be interested?
