Was pinging http://www.fuzzysquid.com/LJ.php this afternoon looking at what was getting posted. (No, I'd never look at the neked gurls, not me!)
Anyway, a neat pic of a PCB design popped up once. I clicked the link and discovered a Russian photographer's LJ:

He's pretty cool cool, the PCB was for some camera flash controls he uses in high speed photography. Pretty simple design, but then it doesn't need to be complicated. Wish I could read his Cyrillic posts. babelfish isn't a lot of help here. But I could figure out the function just by looking at the PCB layout. It seems he used some sort of preforms and tape to lay it all out. I suppose it could have been photoshopped with a handful of symbols too. Anyway, I'm sure it works.
I'm not that into photography to build it, though. Just liked the brief dip back in to my old profession.
