Yay and Nay
Downer: Work is really stressful right now. There's an ongoing issue with LittleBoy (who is about to turn 6) that we'd hoped was resolved but is not, and so he is going to start going to therapy. It's really sad. LIke, makes-me-short-of-breath sad. I love my little boo, and I want him to be okay.
Upper: I'm about to turn 27 (on Wednesday) and my Mom ordered me a vegan cake (she's been very supportive about my going vegan and it's so cute how proud she is when she brings me food I can eat!), and I've been working extra hours and with extra kids to save up to go to surf camp this summer. It's through www.surfdiva.com and I almost have enough $! I already reserved a camp site that's within driving distance, so I am going to drive down to La Jolla and camp out by myself for the week, and visit some friends and family on my road trip to and from there. Exciting!
Second Upper: I signed up for a CSA subscription and so starting next Tuesday I get to pick up a box of fresh produce at my community center every other week. Ta-da! That will get me learning new fruits and veggies to use in new recipes.
