She was angry and hurt. It was hard enough letting Abel be with another woman day and night. Seeing him so attached to her made it harder. Even worse than that, he would not be honest about his affection. Caterina knew he was hiding things. They had been friends for ten years. It was impossible for her not to know. The Iron Lady was fine letting these thing go before the Madonna's return.

"Petty, jealous woman," she murmured to herself as she made her way through the tunnel. She knew if Abel was in true pain he would end up here. Her hunch was correct when she finally stumbled across Abel. "Abel."

Abel never knew that she knew where he went to hide. When he spotted her down the tunnel, he tried to hide the pained expression on his face and greeted her with a warm wave.

"Caterina! This is a surprise, what are you doing down here?" He waved his hands, flailing about to try and distract her from the real reason why he was down here in the first place.

... Oh, she was onto him, wasn't she? He sighed, dropping the act and leaning against the wall. How would he explain how he was feeling? "Caterina, I'm down here because 1000 years ago the evil Crusnik nanomachines inhabiting my dead brother's body pulled off the head of my soul mate and when he did it to Cuddy, I was right back then and now he's doing it just to get to me." Oh wait, it wouldn't fly.

He sighed, "It's nice and quiet here, sometimes you can forget about the outside world."

He glanced at her, "Why are you here? '
