I am reading Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood. I read it before bed, as I have every other book I've ever read. But this one effects me ( Read more... )

Superficial things like appearance shouldn't matter all that much in a meaningful relationship, though. Right? :P

She's a wonderful writter and I just love her for being one. So many great conversaions one could have with her. There are just so many good things I could say.

Besides, we're not lesbians. So, in the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter now does it?

It's not harassment if you happen to be shopping in the same place or eating or hanging around a lecture.

Then we'll say "Hey look, there's Margaret Atwood!" and go about our business. We won't talk to her or bother her or ask her things. She deserves to live her life without being harassed.

Just suppose I become a famous literary figure...What if some kid walks up while we are shopping.What will you do beat them up?

No, I would be polite and respectful. But nonetheless, I would be more appreciative of the fans who respected your distance and allowed us to be normal.

Damnit... maybe when she does lecture or appearences.

(I wouldn't randomly go up to her while shopping. I don't stare at images long enough to remember what she looks like for more than 5 minutes... so I probably wouldn't even give her a second look even if I did see her)

She regularly lectures at UofT it's been a while but I used to sneak into lectures all the time there.I saw some great lectures.
