(no subject)
So a lot of my job is like DNA Sciences, except with mice, not flies. but anyways, most of the tests have hour long periods of incubation of centrofuging or ferrissing which means I have a lot of down time. Right now my restriction enzymes are incubating/ cutting up the plasma DNA I grew inside e. coli on agar plates w/ ampicillin. Sound familiar? yes.
In short, I love my job. I should find something more productive to do during the down time though. I could cheat and look at LOST plot summaries ... or I could do what I have been doing and looking up dead babie jokes.
