If you've never read Dave Barry's A Sort of History, then you should. It's funny, and as far as I know, historically accurate as well.

Yesterday Gina and Derris were supposed to come over for pool and LOST. We turned down both Rob and Seth's invites to the Freemont solstice parade, and then Gina never showed. By then it was too late to get into Freemont. Angry Face!!!! I really wanted to go to the parade. The people at work had been talking about it all week.

Oh well, it was kind of nice to just stay in and relax. Today we're going to Gina's for a party anyway. Well, Rob/Seth/one of the two invited us to go hike Mt Ranier today, but Jeremy's been kinda sick lately.

On Friday, we went out to eat with Rob, Rob 2, Seth, Seth 2, Josh, 2 girls, and another guy who's names I can't remember. They're all interns at Microsoft with Jeremy. The dudes I work with are all twice my age, so I'd feel a little akward inviting them.

"Hey Yen, I know you have a little baby at home who is less than a year old and needs constant attention, but a couple of my friends and I are all gonna chill after work today .. wanna come?"

Well, Jay was my age, but he just went home to Wisconsin for the summer.

I miss Virginia. It's fun here, but I haven't seen any of you guys since Thanksgiving. I think I'll be able to make it down during the middle of august, but I'm not certain. :(
