Update on Thana
We made it! Not to our $1800 goal but close enough to where Tillman agreed to bill us for the balance. Bill came to an agreement with them on Friday and drove a cashiers check over to them on saturday. So far we raised $1,377.62 with Tuesday's raffle and with online paypal donations. Bill took that money and an additional $222(or so) from his unemployment check to the mortuary and they agreed to accept payment in installments for the remaining $200.38 odd dollars... They will be getting her to the Veterans National Cemetery on Monday... SIGH I'm glad that's over with. Though I have to admit that the paranoid part of my brain is worried about them not putting her in the right grave without someone to supervise. It's in the hands of the powers now I guess...
