You are receiving this email because you have been identified as an excellent
candidate for our stat lab instructor position for the 2005-06 school year. If
you will be attending Coastal next Fall, and have an interest in this position,

Stat lab instructors will work with the supervising faculty member and other
stat lab instructors to insure that labs run smoothly and that academic goals
are being met. The supervising faculty member for Fall 2005 is Dr. Eric
Howington.
We have two returning instructors, plus an opening for one new instructor. The
returning instructors have already chosen their time slots. The new instructor
will teach two labs: Tuesday 3:30-6 pm and Thursday 3:30-6 pm. It is possible
that two instructors could be hired, one for each slot, if there is not a
candidate available for both.
You will be paid for 10 hours of work for each lab you are assigned. The current
pay rate is $7 per hour. Past instructors indicate that lab duties generally do
not take up the entire 10 hours.

application and faculty reference letters by Wednesday, April 27. If you have
