so i just finished playing through valkyrie profile:lenneth, and i'm pretty bummed. you know how when you beat rampage(for the original NES) you expected some big ending 'cause you played that game all day? and then you find out that your prize is fireworks that say congratulations? yeah, the ending was a lot like that. so now, i get to play ( Read more... )

i saw that one of the new ones just came out in japan, and since psp's are region free i was thinking about getting it, but then i figured it'd be too rough in a different language.

as for the american one, i don't really want to play an older one. kinda like how they released the first game for naruto out here. it just feels like a big step backwards.

if you haven't played it its new to you right? But if you get a japanese game make sure its a fighting game, the principles are easier to figure out than it would be in an rpg

what i mean is, that it would be around where the american version of the show is. so i'd be playing a super weak ichigo with a stupid looking sword. i'm just so used to the super-powered characters that even watching the filler episodes seems like a step back.

first of all it seems like that because the filler episodes are a step back what with them sucking and all. Secondly from what i understand the first psp fighting game takes place during the begining of the soul society arc so you get some of the captains plus i read chad is really popular in the game. I didn't think his first sword looked that bad plus you had all the fun penis jokes when renji sees it. I don't know if i already asked you this because i ask this of all the bleach fans i know but who is your favorite captain?

captain? that's pretty tough, i'll get back to you at the end of the comment.

as for the game, i saw that the third(i believe) japanese game was at that time period. so i just assumed that we had to go through the waiting game to get to the good ones.

hitsaguya(sp?) has a pretty awesome bankai. but overall, i'd go with kempachi. i mean, who else could fight someone when you're robbed of your senses?

that was pretty cool especially when he lets tousen(?) go so he can do it again. My favorite captain is Urahara he is the fuckin man, i can't wait to see his bankai.

urahara? does that really count as a captain? but yeah, that guy is just ridiculous. we haven't even seen him seriouslly fight yet.

urahara was the captain of the research squad and i would like to point out he is the only guy who hasn't had to bust out his bankai to slap around the espada

dude, he didn't have to break a sweat to beat them.

plus, wasn't hitsaguya the only official captain to fight any of those guys?

yeah but they said rukia is captain class and bald guy has his bankai

while rukia is good, she doesn't strike me as a captain class.

and yeah, bald guy. i'm not sure about his level, but he even said he's not interested in a higher rank.

they say point blank the reason she is not a captain is because byakuya went around calling in favors so she wouldn't be one because he doesn't want here in that kind of danger. So if she is captain class she has achieved bankai, she just hasn't whipped it out yet

Its a japanese fighting game, how difficult could it be to figure out.

it's not a typical fighting game in the naruto sense. it follows the story of the game, so i'd probably be sitting through cutscenes with a question mark over my head.
