Saw this article online yesterday, and I couldn't ignore it.
http://www.torontosun.com/News/TorontoAndGTA/2007/03/30/3870347-sun.html First paragraph says this;
"Toronto officials are talking with the organizers of July's Live Earth concerts to see if the city can play a role in the effort to fight global warming."
You know, we're wondering the same thing. What can Toronto do to help fight global warming? How about not intentionally creating urban sprawl? How about improving the TTC so that people don't have to drive into TO at night? How about cleaning up the waterfront? How about charging 9-5ers who drive to work instead of using public transit?
No, David Miller doesn't want to do any of this. Strangely enough though, he wants to take part in a concert that's supposed to raise awareness of Global Warming. Wow David, maybe there's a reason why your city wasn't chosen. Maybe, just maybe, IT'S YOU!
