Danny Boy, don't be afraid to shake that ass and misbehave.

Considering I haven't done a post since before Christmas, and that was only a music post anyway, I figured I should perhaps do one of these. The last few weeks have been pretty fabulous. A lot of hanging out with friends, a lot of presents, a bit of alcohol, a lot of fun, etc. Breaks are always a good time. I've seen pretty much everyone that I've wanted to see this break, except I only saw Lauren (she and I have plans to have lunch with Clark sometime soon, anyway). Adam came into town for a few days, that was a good time. I've done a lot of shopping and a lot of eating and even more movie watching. I received quite a few movies over the break, including: The Devil Wears Prada, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (I just never got around to buying these for myself, so thank you, Kacie, for doing it for me), King Arthur, Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest, Superman Returns (actually a birthday present, but it was given to me with Christmas), Troy (words can't express how excited I was to get this. I used to have a copy, but I loaned it out to a friend (I highly doubt I will ever see it again), and I didn't want to go out and actually buy it, because that would just be embarrassing), and Firefly. I also got a number of movies back from when I loaned them to people. It's always nice having your movie library fully intact. I spent a lot of time with family this holiday, too. I need to have lunch or something with Katie sometime before she leaves. I also kidnapped my two youngest cousins for an afternoon. That was a good time.

Went to an absolutely smashing New Year's Eve party last night. There was pink champagne to be had (it was good, but I'm not much of a champagne drinker), good music (supplied by me, I can't be humble about it, it was damn good), Hercules, dirty Scrabble, and Eat Poop You Cat (or paper telephone). All in all, a great night and good morning as well (there was bacon, eggs, and pancakes). Thank you, Madame French, for the invitation. I'm quite glad I was able to come.

Anyway, 2006 was a disappointing year. It had such potential, and then everything went downhill. I don't really care to talk about everything that happened this year (I believe I already made a post that touched briefly upon this subject). Anyway, I just hope that 2007 is better.

Happy New Year, everyone.
