so i had an idea for a lims. however, i want opinions. so i'm leaving this unlocked if you want to pimp it to your own friends to get their thoughts as well.
basically this is going to be a giant battle winner take all type lims. this is how i invision it working.
it would be tv shows only, and the major tv shows that i've seen most people talk about and icon (lost, supernatural, doctor who, torchwood, buffy/angel, the office, battlestar galactica, heroes. others would be added if there's a big outcry). when signing up, people would pick three of the above fandoms in order of what they want the most to the least. i would then put people into teams for the fandoms. i'd like to get 10 in each team, but if it's stretching it then i'd place accordingly. and if you sign up but usually make icons of fandom a, i'd try and put you in a different fandom to make the playing field as fair as possible.
then, it would be battle style icon making. say the first found looks like this:
lost vs torchwood
supernatural vs buffy/angel
doctor who vs the office
battlestar galactica vs heroes
everyone on the team would make icons with the caps provided for their team (lost team = lost icons, etc). then when it's voting time, only the members of team torchwood are allowed to vote off icons of team lost. etc etc.
two members of each team would be eliminated each week till only one remains from each team. then those members go up against each other, just like a regular lims, but they would have to make icons from all of the above fandoms (images would be random and would include at least two different fandoms). everyone would be able to vote for everyone when it gets this far.
the final two would have to do something super spectacular. last one remaining wins.
i'd like to have the teams as even as possible, but say one or two of the teams only have 8 people while the rest have 10, then voting would be adjusted according to that team.
does this sound like something people would be interested in? i think it would be pretty cool.
