A few little highlights from the session - please note all names are taken directly from Vic’s book. Vic is really bad with professor names.
Getting told “For you, Vic, anytime” when asking General Wholeness if she’d be able to keep me energized (i.e., refresh five body by virtue) - prompted a “Hooray, somebody thinks I’m useful!” moment, which them prompted a “Wow, that must mean I’m useful” moment afterwards.
Talking down a couple of Touched who’d arrived to kill the Spa Queen, and having Upside-down Badass Professor (this is the courage professor and no I’m not explaining it) tell Vic that he’d done well with it.
Also finding out that Operation: Spa Queen was actually a go! Who knew? Vic just has ideas, winds them up, and watches them sparkle.
Getting EVIL TEA PROFESSOR to laugh a bit at a Vic-ism about the black pebble.
Wandering over to help comfort a very upset Cadence (Vic’s name for Pru)
Seeing The Littlest Bobcat (Caro) on the Wholeness Test and thinking, it’s about damn time.
Getting to talk with the Book Sprite, and showing her (and indeed, anybody) Vic’s Book for the first time.
Revealing Large Steps as an ex-sportsman - I’m sworn to secrecy on the rest.
Working (with Lord Orlando Rossini’s “help”) on resolving a lover’s dispute between Fancypants 7 (there have been a lot of people with Fancy Pants in this game so far, it’s getting confusing) and TROG - “Girl like dead bear!”
“Fun time is not fun!” and getting chased by an Aetherial who DISPUTED THIS IDEA GREATLY
Getting inducted into the Knights of Small Defenseless Things - holy CRAP that was awesome
Being used as a stand for some of FireLady’s dancing moves. Wish my knees weren’t so shot.
Helping out with a Ritual (though sadly missed the last bit due to a short attention span and, I seem to recall, stark terror) led to us by Professor Acceptable Margin. Hoo-rah! So far everything he’s given us has worked perfectly.
And in general getting to drive the Bad Idea Cart off a cliff. Hooray!
