I appologize for not having any pictures; that is often the downfall of any plans for legacies or stories. I think I'm going to wait until I have the first rotation in each hood done before starting the picture-taking process, so that I'm starting in a different spot than the standard.
Things have been quite interesting. I'm not getting a lot of inter-mingling, but I have local-walkby in and that tends to keep sims in their original hoods within any of the megahoods I've tried. I sent Don and Nina on a date downtown and they ran into Loki Beaker, but thats the first Strangetown resident I've come across.
So far I've played the Brokes, the Caliente sisters, and now am several sim-days into Don Lothario. I'd like to get everyone on a Monday-Monday schedule, so some of the houses are being played for a shorter amount of time, for example Don starts out on a Tuesday but I will only play him until the following Monday a.m.
The Broke family is doing quite well! Dustin has sorted things out with his mother and school, becoming an overachiever! His boss thinks he's quite suited to the life of crime, but Dustin is really becoming a family-centered guy. Who knows, maybe he'll have that as a secondary aspiration as an adult. He and Angela would make adorable children, and they seem to enjoy practicing making babies in the Caliente sisters' hot tub whenever they get a chance! Beau managed to learn all of his toddler skills without smartmilk - his mother and brother worked hard to get him past those milestones. He's doing really well in school, and enjoys teaching his baby sister Benita how to sing a nursery rhyme. Brandi has a job as an Executive Assistant, but its quite hard to juggle long hours with raising her two younger children. She tried to hire a nanny, but the money just isn't there. With less than 200 simoleans in the family bank account at any given time, she's
happy for the money Dustin brings in.
The Caliente sisters have had quite the week - things were going well between Dina and Mortimer Goth, but he appears to still be married to Bella. She was spying on the two of them one day when Mortimer noticed. They got in a heated argument and she swore she wouldn't spy on them ever again. Too bad he caught her at it the next day. He's furious that she isn't content to be his mistress, and she's furious that he's still with his wife. With negative relationship points it looks like this is one marriage dream that will never materialize. She's working in the Intelligence field - hopefully she can become better at spying on her lovers. Nina is quite happily involved with Don, and not all that concerned about his relationship with Cassandra Goth. He's a Romance sim, just like she is, and the last thing she wants is to be tied down. Lately she's been thinking about how cute a little baby with Don's eyes would be, but could her sister stand the sound of an infant in their tiny house?
As for Don, well, he's just trying to keep his feet on the ground and his "romance" romantic - which can be kind of difficult when one's fiance shows up while one is romancing one's girlfriend. He just wishes that the dream dates were with Cassandra rather than Nina.
