...made with extra virgin olive oil, butter and
seasoning salt. We'll have them with burgers in just a few minutes.
John is here playing today, I'm watching him as a regular thing on Tuesdays right now.
John: I'm spiduhman! (pointing finger) ssst!SssssSSST!
Peter: No! I spidahmah! I Spidahmah!
John: I Spiduhman!
(both repeat about 5 times)
Alison: Peter, John is Spiderman, why don't you be Batman or Superman?
Peter: Otay. I Batma.
John: I Spiduhman!
Peter: No, I spidahmah!
Alison: I thought you were Batman?
Peter and John together in chorus: No, I spidahman! I spiduhma! No! I! etc.
Peter really likes Clementines. He will eat at least 3 in a sitting. John does not like clementines, but he does like eating carrots with Elisabeth and pretending to be Bugs Bunny.
Elisabeth: Ehhhhh What's up Doc?
John: wasup Doc!
Peter likes singing lately. He has sung bits of Jingle Bells and his favorite thing to sing is Happy Birthday. He sings it very atonally, the same few notes over and over.
Peter: Happy Bir-Day to you Leeebeh! Happy Bir-Day to you John! Happy Bir-day to you Pe-ta! Happy bir-day to you Dee-die! Happy bir-day to you Lee-beh! Happy bir-day to you Mommy!
Elisabeth sang "The Twelve Days of Christmas" as she washed dishes after breakfast. She had to ask me for every number over 6, but after she was done she then demonstrated her knowledge of the song by singing me the whole thing over again.
Peter's "you may!" said in a growly voice is really unbearably cute.
Patrick has been looking at vans and thinks the Honda Odyssey is far superior to the Toyota Sienna. I should get to test drive a couple in the next few days.
Abinadi's bad rash is finally almost cleared up. There is a bit lingering on his foreskin, hopefully it will be gone completely in the next 3-4 days. I really need to give him another haircut, it is getting long in the back and around the ears. Getting him to therapy three times a week is kind of draining, but he loves it. Mondays we have PT at LE Bonheur, Wednesdays we have PT in the school system (I drive out to East Memphis) and ST (at different schools!) then Fridays we have ST and OT at Le Bonheur. At least a get a break between days!
Elisabeth is still liking her ballet class at Hope and Healing and wants to go see the Nutcracker this year. She gets a free ticket, but I have to pay. I got a voucher for %20 off, but it still comes to quite a bit for us broke folks. I need to call the box office, I might be able to get a ticket for me through Arts Access (program for poor folks.)
Due to some mix-up (you know I'd like to use stronger language!) My Tenncare has been dropped so I no longer have insurance coverage. Considering that I've never used it, it's not such a big deal, but I will have a hard time getting it again if I do need it. And it ticks me off because I spent $25 on proof of pregnancy in order to get it renewed, but obviously someone along the line (between the post office, DHS, and Tenncare, who knows! so many beauracrats, so many oportunities to screw things up) did not get my information updated.
But it's looking like a pretty nice day all in all. Time to go flip my fries.
