I did practically nothing but work all weekend. That's not what they're supposed to be for, they're supposed to be filled with non-work activities...That is the one thing I really don't like about teaching, all the out of office work. I probably put in 30 hours of work over the last 3 days.
Reading and grading 30 five page papers
Printing out a book
Creating a proposal for a new class
Research
Creating lectures
Creating PowerPoints for said lectures
Altering and uploading documents
Making assignments
Reviewing lectures
Creating Code examples
and I didn't get to the 15 or so tests I need to grade.
Maybe I don't want to do this. Maybe I should stay on part time and wait to see what happens with Jen. She refuses to move here no matter what, so maybe I should'nt tie myself down.
